Every year Christmas is celebrated. And for that, preparations start probably a month before Christmas. Christmas trees are decorated, houses and streets are adorned with lamps and lights, food preparations begin, gifts are bought and wrapped, and festive feelings are strengthened through Christmas carols. Christmas is a joyous occasion.
However, amidst all these activities, there is a tendency to either forget or neglect Jesus. So, let’s make sure to put Christ is Christmas. And this blog is a humble attempt to do that.
Let Jesus be at the Centre
The first five letters of ‘Christmas’ are central to the festive season of Christmas. Remove Christ and the whole reason for the season fades away. Yet we so often do that.
We decorate our Christmas trees, yet we forget the One who was nailed to the tree for our sins. We adorn our houses with love and warmth and lamps and lights, yet we forget that Jesus did not have a good place to lay His head.
So, how to put back Christ in Christmas?
Read more of the Birth Narratives when your family gathers around so that you don’t forget the first Christmas. It was not about the decorations, lights, and even the food; It was all about Jesus. So should our Christmas be!
Spend time with your loved ones
Christmas is what brings people together. No matter how far family members are, they come back home, or at least they desire to.
Make sure to spend enough quality time with them. This will only strengthen your bond with them. Make memories with them. Your relationship with your Heavenly Father should reflect your relationship with your loved ones.
Point the conversations Christward and let Jesus be glorified.
Share Jesus
Christmas gives us the official opportunity to talk about Jesus. Whether loved ones or strangers, we can share Jesus with them.
So, think of a few points about how you will do it. Whether it be through sharing a Christmas tract or conversing with them, or through a song or any other way—share Christ. You don’t even have to go and initiate the talk. All you have to do is go to a church nearby, and you’ll find plenty of seekers or people who want to know more about Christmas or Jesus. Start talking with them.
Pray that God will give you plenty of ideas and words and courage. Be available to share Jesus. On Christmas day or any day during this Christmas week, at least once visit your church or a church nearby, and you’ll find at least one person to share Jesus with.

Let us know in the comments/reply how to celebrate Christmas Biblically.
I have little crosses on my trees including decorations of the nativity all over my apartment. Next year I may get a little more than just what I have now. I'd like to create a real manger. I'm not sure yet. I have a year or maybe Christ will rapture us before then. Whichever comes first. Praise Jesus.
